“Ancestors” is the debut single from Ancient Lasers, the newly crafted group from Los Angeles-based multi-instrumentalist Daniel Finfer. The track, from the groups forthcoming EP, closes a chapter on Finfer’s life as it is the first material released since his Post Human Era project. Originally written in 2005 while he attended Santa Clara University, “Ancestors” has gone through many phases over the past six years. The final versions of the songs came to fruition after Finfer started working with Artist and Producer Daniel Anderson (Idiot Pilot, Glowbug, Hyro Da Hero) on the project.
The upcoming EP and Full Length album were recorded over the past year between studios in Bellingham, WA and Los Angeles, CA with Finfer and Anderson Co-Producing and Paul Turpin (The Trucks, Idiot Pilot, Rooftops) Engineering and Mixing. More information about the EP and Full Length album will be released soon.
Glowbug (Daniel Anderson) has released a music video for his cover of “Where Is My Mind” by The Pixies that will appear on the upcoming “Covered In Lights Vol. 1” EP. The video is comprised of footage shot around Venice Beach in Los Angeles, CA by Anderson, who recently relocated to the city from the Pacific Northwest.
“Covered In Lights Vol. 1” will be the first in an ongoing series of covers EP’s that will be released in the coming months. These EP’s will contain some of Anderson’s favorite songs as well as songs picked by fans. Vol. 1 will be released on Saturday, October 1st.

As you may have noticed, our website is a bit out of date. The last few months have been very busy and I haven’t been giving the site the attention it deserves. But friends that is soon coming to an end. There are many exciting projects we are working on here at NAMgmt including, but not limited to, the debut EP & Album from Ancient Lasers, the debut Full Length album from Dirty Sidewalks and a few other secret and not-so-secret projects. Look for a refreshed web presence in the coming weeks with a lot more information about out current artists and projects. We are working our way back and just about to hit our stride. Glowbug, the solo project of Daniel Anderson (Idiot Pilot, The Ghost And The Grace), will release it’s debut full length album entitled “Mr. Plastic” on Wednesday, May 25th via Bandcamp. The twelve track album is the follow up to the three EP’s released in the later part of last year. The singles “Not Another Test” and “To Buy A Knife” are available for download now for Free, the entire album will also be Free as explained in the following statement from Anderson:
“As a sign of my appreciation for those who care to support the music that I make, this album is available to for absolutely nothing. Enjoy it, share it, burn it. Give it to whoever you want and hopefully they will like it as well. In the meantime, if you really must pay me for this record I would love for you to chose one of the fine charities below and donate a little something. Pick something close to your heart and send the $10 or so that you would spend on my album over there way. Enjoy the record and thanks for listening.”

Glowbug, the dance/electronic side-project of Bellingham, WA artist/producer Daniel Anderson, has released it’s first music video for the track “No Fun” from his third EP release Displacer Beast. The video was shot in Bellingham and Seattle, WA and directed by Abiel Hoff. On March 10th, 2011 the group (featuring live members Christopher Newton, Brittany Hurley and Hanna Adams) will make their performance debut at Nectar Lounge in Fremont with Spoek Mathambo (South Africa) and Rainbow Arabia (Los Angeles). Anderson is also the front man of the Indie Rock group The Ghost And The Grace as well as one half of Idiot Pilot.

Joining them this time is producer IG88 opening with a dance set and other suprise guests! Doors open at 8pm, $5 cover till 11pm and $7 after that. The Mission Orange performed their brand new song “Only Lonely”, featuring Jessie Cohen (of The Oregon Donor) on Bass, durring this years Hope Lodge Sessions.
Michael Harris, along with Jenni Potts, joined Producer IG88 on stage at Nectar Lounge in Seattle, Washington to perform on a couple of songs that will be on IG88′s upcoming album “Blackberry Light.” Video of the song Disarticulation is below.
